Tension bands are an offset strip of metal shaped to fit around the terminal post and used with a carriage bolt and nut to attach the tension bar to the post. These bands are made from 13 gauge x 7/8″ steel. Square bands are used in applications where square posts are used such as ornamental fence. A 5/16″ x 1 1/4″ carriage bolt is used. Carriage bolt and nut sold separately.
