Female gate hinges are a fitting that attaches to the gate frame and functions with the post hinge (also called frame hinge). Square female gate hinges are used in applications where square gate frames are used such as ornamental fence. A 3/8" carriage bolt is used. Carriage bolt and nut sold separately.  8 gauge.
